This interview excerpt says a lot about him and epitomizes one of the core reasons I enjoy his work so much. I think that giving others the benefit of the doubt is one of the best ways to live out Jesus' admonition to treat others the same way you would want them to treat you.

ReplyDeleteRefreshing to hear a journalist talking openly and honestly about treating others with dignity and respect. I think it important for people to also realize that he is not necessarily soft, he will still ask some tough questions, but he allows people to be prepared for tough questions and doesn't ambush them. He also doesn't interject his own opinions in the mix of the interview which is really refreshing as well.
