Almighty and Everlasting God, you are the rightful authority over all things in heaven and on earth. We ask you to hear our prayers. We ask that today and every day you would grant us your peace. We thank you for your mercy and goodness toward us.We confess our sins and weaknesses, Lord. We repent of the ways we have disobeyed and turned from you. Forgive us and help us to turn away from wrong. Transform us and give us the faith to press toward life, healing, restoration, holiness, and good deeds. You are so gracious to us, and we ask you to make us able and quick to be gracious toward others.
O God, thank you for revealing yourself through Jesus, your son. Just as the rising sun is visible with each new day, and by its brightness makes all things visible, help us to see the light and wisdom of Jesus, and make us able to see everything else rightly by the light of his truth.
